Visited the Peace Tower in Second Life
Yes, I visited John Lennon's Peace Tower in Second Life yesterday.
http://slurl.com/secondlife/Imagine%20Peace%20Tower/113/215/25
The above SLURL will take you to the boat house, which is a kind of gate where you can get souvenir from Yoko Ono and watch the video of John and Yoko. Never fail to get "Onochord HUD", which is placed in the bowl on the table in the center of the room. Attaching first the Onochord and then the Onochord HUD will enable you to give out onochord sign by flashing or by particles, which is explained in the video.
Well, after getting Onochord and other souvenirs, I jumped into the boat and sail around the island because there was enough time before the tower is lit. It was easy and fun. There was also a hot balloon but I didn't know how to move it. I'll visit there and try again later. :)
And the, the sun went down and it got dark. Suddenly the white wishing well began to shine and beautiful blue rays stood one by one in a circle. We could hear John Lennon singing "Imagine". And the, "Give Peace a Chance", with Yoko's peace message dubbed on it. The sim coordinator told us it was time for clicking and flashing Onochords. It was a very impressive and moving moments.
The tower will be lit up every day until 8th December 2010 at 7:20 am/pm, 11:20 am/pm and 3:20 am/pm SLT. Don't miss it!

Serendipity
Two of Japanese scientist, Prof. Eiichi Negishi and Prof. Akira Suzuki was awarded with Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
As a Japanese, I am very happy with their winning the prize.
I am very much impressed when Prof. Suzuki was talking about "serendipity".
As a matter of fact, I'm very fond of the word and its concept.
The word "serendipity" owes its origin to the Persian tale about "Three Princes of Serendip".
Serendip is an old name for Ceylon or Sri Lanka.
According to that tale, the three princes of Sri Lanka was always looking for something
but they could not find what they were looking for.
Instead, they happened to find something else so wonderful.
From this old tale, a word "serendipity" was coined to express the faculty or situation
of gaining or meeting unexpectedness that is so wonderful.
Yes, I love "unexpectedness". And the theme of the SL7B in June this year
was "Unexpected Collaboration".
Unexpectedness is something that will lead you to somewhere beyond your ability or imagination.
But this unexpectedness does not come easily.
When you return to the old Persian tale, you'll find these princes were always looking for something.
Yes, they kept on searching something and it led to finding something else so wonderful.
Something unexpected and wonderful is attained by the continuous effort of searching,
which is now proved by the lives of these scientists.

Paris!
The sims of Paris are very beautiful places
with their realistic buildings and city plans.
The Eiffle Tower and the Arch of Triumph
are the good places to visit with your friends and lovers.
And if you turn left around the corner of the Arch
and go along the street, you'll find an musical instrument shop
with a poster of a band marching on.
Yes, this is a new and first shop of winds Seiling in Paris!
One of the administrators of these sims seems to like her shop.
And if things goes well, we might have concerts or events here in Paris!
Wow! It will be a fun to play in a very place place like this.
This afternoon, I walked down the streets and saw the concert venues
with winds and other frinds of ours. We had a a very good time there.
So please wait and see what happens next...in Paris!
