1st Anniversary Charity Live!

It was 27th October, 2007 I played for the first time in SL
and the venue was in the Aquarium in the sea!
The fantastic situation as well as my healing muisc was well received
and that was the beginning of my musical career.
I got acquainted with many people through the concert
and I was asked to play on many occations such as celebration of SIM opening
or 24-hour special radio program in SL. :)

One year after the first concert, I would like to express my sincere gratitude
to all the people who have helped me in various ways
and I'll have 2-day special charity concert this weekend.
I'll express love and peace by improvizing on the piano, pipe organ and synthesizers.
I'd be happy if you could come and see with your friends.
Have a nice weekend with my healing music for love and peace.

One Week Before Burning Life!

Here are some snapshots of my Burning Life theme camp.

This is the main stage.
I added loudspeakers in front of it
to make the live more realistic.
And I employed new synthesizers,
KORG OASYS and MiniMoog.
The picture also shows the message board
and an automatic announcement board
I wrote about before.

In the center of the tent stands a large tree.
On the ground is a large texture of our planet earth
and on the ceiling are the stars in the universe.
So the tree is the Cosmic Tree with its root in the African continent
connecting heaven and earth.

All the living creatures including us
are the cosmic existence.
I'm making music celebrating life and universe
as a promotion music of my theme camp.
I hope you'll hear it as soon as possible.

Yes! Please find SLURL of my theme camp as follows:
http://slurl.com/secondlife/Burning%20Life%20(Zone)/224/25/24

For the present, the sim is restricted to the registered avatars only,
but I'll give the opening live performance at 8:00 am SLT September 27,
So please come and enjoy the show.
And for more events,
please keep your eyes on my updates, thank you!

Automatic announcement board

Another update of my Burning Life theme camp.... :D

Suggested by hiromitsu Fall's automatic announcement script,
I set up two automatic announcement boards
inside my theme camp tent.
This announcement board shows the information as a floating text,
and besides, it SAYS the information reminding the audience of it
repeatedly in the time interval set by the owner.
In the real life event, we often hear the announcement made repeatedly.
My announcement board make it possible in a automatic way.
I do not have my own event crew and I'm so busy during the show
I made this scripted object. :)

Touch the announcement board and a dialog appears.
You'll find buttons to change colors, repeat time intervals
and message modes.

Information has to be written in a inventory notecard in advance.
You can show the whole information
or show lines one by one by alternating the message modes.
The second snapshot shows the message in "Separate" mode
and the third in "Whole" mode.

Only one week is left until Burning Life.
Now I'm going to make a promotion video for my theme camp.
I'll show it on this blog,
so please keep your eyes on my updates, thank you!

Preparation for Burning Life

Hi, Hiroshi again!
Now I've done with my work
in the core system of my theme camp at Burning Life.
Let me tell you about it.

The name of my theme camp is
"Love & Peace Message Camp."
It is an event made with my music
and words from the participants of the camp.

Entering my tent, first you'll find a large screen 12 m by 9 m.
And then, as my friend naturalway Flow notices,
a red block will come into your eyes.
This object, in fact, is a post.

Make a new notecard, write your message in it
putting your name as its file name,
drop the notecard onto the post
and then your message will appear on the screen with your name!

And more!
The messages shown on the screen
appear as articles in this blog.
The message you post in Second Life
is shared not only by the audience of my event
but also by the people all the world over
through world wide web.

At my camp, inspired by the posted messages,
I'll play music on improvisation.
I'll put a link to my live streaming server in this blog
so the message of words and music is shared
by out-world people as well as by in-world avatars.

Love and peace are the universal values
we all have long been wishing for
irrespective of whatever nationality, race, religion, belief,
sex or language each one of us belongs to.
Messages longing for love and peace
incorporated by the participants' words and by my music
will be delivered from this camp in Second Life to the real world,
thus contributing to the realization of love and peace.

Well, now, let me take this opportunity
of asking you to send your message of love and peace in advance.
It would be highly appreciated if you could send them
to Hiroshi Kumaki in Second Life by notecard.

Well, now the core system of my event has been finished,
I'll go on to the information boards and other stuffs then.
Please keep your eyes on my updates, thank you!

My tent at Burning Life

Phew! I set up a tent at my theme camp place.
I made it as a dome in 40 m in diameter.
It's only a tent anyway,
but it's for the first time for me to build something in this scale. :D

Now in this tent
I'll prepare for my Burning Life events,
building objects,
putting textures on them,
installing scripts,
editing music and video to play,...
Wow! So many things to do! :D

Please keep your eyes on my updates!

Got my camp at Burning Life!

Wow! I've got a mail from Dusty Linden!
Yes, it says I won a theme camp place at Burning Life '08.
And my friend naturalway Flow has also won a camp.
As a matter of fact, it's he who invited me to join Burning Life event,
so now I'm very happy both of us have won camp places. :)

On receipt of Dusty's mail,
I visited my camp place.
Entry to Burning Life sims is limited to registered avatars only now,
here are some snapshots I took
to give you images what's going on there.

This is the entry point of Burning Life festival.
Walking up along the path in the desert
you'll come across with the welcome gate
- now under construction though :D -,
and further walk will lead you to the large Center Camp!
It makes me feel I'm home again,
for the experience I had here last year
makes me what I am now - an SL musician....

And further walk!
300 m northwest of the Center Camp
through the desert
there I found a plot in my name!
With the expanse of 2,592 sqm
allowing 1,008 prims,
what shall we make and do on this empty desert land?

Well, I'll have to sit up late for coming weeks!
Please keep your eyes on my updates. :D

Dear Ol' Tree

It was a strange day.
I don't know why but I got several object returns today.
One of them was from famous glia Winkler!
Oh my god! What on earth is going on?

It was a tree I planted in her Hachikoku yama Island for fund raising.
The staff of the Island also sent me a notecard
in which they thanked those who cooperated in fund raising
and told them they had returned the trees to the owners
because the Island would be on a renewal process....

The returned tree is a very precious one to me.
I planted this tree side by side with the ones
of Sena Pinklady and Leoleo Ling, my best friends.
When I felt lonely and blue, I would visit Hachikoku yama Island
and see our trees, talking to them....

I took out the tree out of my "Lost and Found"
and planted onto my parcel.
It seems to have grown bigger,
but I wish it would grow much bigger,
as our dreams continue to grow forever....

I take it back into my inventory again.
As the tree is a precious one,
I would like to plant it and grow it in the right place.

Thanks, glia Winkler and all othe staff of Hachikoku yama Island.
I will visit the Island again when the renewal is done.

Tonight!

I'll give a gig at my home Lifebound Cafe from 23:00 to 24:00 JST (or 07:00 to 08:00 SLT) after a very long absence. Yes, I make it a rule to appear at the cafe at that time and give a gig every Saturday, but have been too busy playing for major events. :'-(

Tonight I'll play relaxed at my own cafe. Please take your time listening to my music.

Refreshing the Store!

After installing the automatic cruising system, I feel like refreshing the build of Lifebound Records.

First of all, I set up a news board on the wall of the office. It shows the recent articles of my favorite Second Life blogs. The banner changes blog by blog and when you would like to read the article, just touch the banner and your web browser is launched to show you the designated site!

It will take some time for me to finish it, but day by day, little by little, there will be some change at Lifebound Records. I will keep you informed so please come and see...and buy! :-)
