Sound Camp 2013 Begins Today!

It all began with masa Homewood's tweet:
"I want something exciting...
What if I re-create my live house "Studio Dive"
and various types of musicians and DJs play there every night..."

It was not long before ten artists reacted to the tweet and declared they would join.
And so did the event staff members.
Everybody wanted "something exciting" in the Second Life music scene in Japan.

Those ten musicians and DJs will play at the special stage
set up in Aria West sim, in a location where Indianna Jones might explore,
from Friday July 26 through Sunday July 28.
In addition, Protege Karas will appear today, Thursday July 25,
and give her DJ performance as a prelude to the weekend event.

5th Debut Anniversary Live

Time flies and five years have passed since I first played in Second Life....

To show my sincere gratitude to all who have supported me in many ways,
I'll give 5th debut anniversary performance on Oct.27, 2012

Second Life Autumn Music Festival (SecFes)

From October 6 through 8, the Second Life Autumn Musical Festival, abbreviated as "SecFes", is held in Jabara Land sims, where more than a dozen of Japanese SL musicians gather to raise funds for the support of the cities and towns suffered by the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011.

And, of course, I will play at the event: 7:00-8:00 am Sunday, October 7, 2012, on the second day.  And, before my stage, naturalway Flow appears with his Music StarMine and, after me, The Black Stripes will play.  What a fun!

Moreover, the Yokohama Marching Band parades through Jabara Land sims on the first day, celebrating the opening of the event.  Please check the time table below and don't miss the performances of your favorite musicians!

At the venue of Kerupa Flow's gallery "Nest of the Dragon" in Dreamworld Pearl,
Hiroshi Kumaki collaborates with Kerupa in creating a fantastic world
of light and sound.

This is not a usual live performance.
Sound and light will be generated improvisationally
and fill the space where Kerupa's artistic productions surrond you.
You can touch and sit in this event as well as see and hear.

I cannot imagine myself what will happen in the event.
I'm looking forward to sharing this time and place with you there. :)

The time to celebrate Second Life's 9th birthday is just around the corner.  This year, YMB will not set up our exhibit because our real life engagements make our one week performance difficult.  But winds Seiling and I will appear in person at SL9B Green Stage for live performance.  Please do not miss winds' marvelous performance on the clarinet and, perhaps, on the saxophone.  I will back her up on the piano and play the synthesizer by improvisation.  We are looking forward to seeing you there. :)
